Streamate the number one camsite for private shows has just released a new selling tool for all of it’s cammodels. Most cam sites allow non-registered members to browse the website anonymously, giving them the ability to view cams without models knowing that they’re there. But now Streamate has added something that can help models turn this into a valuable tool.
Members who are viewing your stream show up in your chat boxes, but other viewers may be sneaking a peak too! On your streaming page, look for the new “Potential Members” count at the top. These viewers aren’t logged into a member account. They may be new viewers thinking of signing up, or one of your regulars getting a preview before they log in. When you see these viewers, feel free to give them a wink and tell them to join you!
My belief is that Streamate has now made this information available to cammodels in order to increase chatroom engagement. Previously the only way a cammer could see potential members in their chatroom was if they were in logged in under Party Chat and allow all members without a credit card to interact in FreeChat. Of course this isn’t the most popular option and isn’t exactly favored among cammodels. But now with the new Potential Members list found at the top of cammodel dashboard, models are able to see exactly how many members are viewing their room but in this instance they are not able to type anonymously. The potential members could include previous customers who haven’t logged in as well as new members to the site. But now that models can actually see an exact number this may encourage them to entice viewers into a paid chat session.
Tips On Increasing Chatroom Engagement
On sites like Streamate you have the option of streaming in either Party Chat where guest can see who’s in your chatroom. Or you can choose Classic Chat, my personal preference because with this option members are only allowed to see what you write into the chat. My advice is to frequently make eye contact with your web-cam while relaxing your facial expressions. I’ve found that so many neglect to look directly into their web-cam, but choose to watch the chat log instead. The point is you want to make yourself as approachable as possible and someone that they’d like to have fun with. Also logging on in a good mood is a definite plus.
Quite often I’ve said that the seduction begins even before a visitor enters the chatroom. I think it’s important for cammodels to understand that someone is always watching their livestream. Even when the traffic appears to be down on any given day, the new Streamate Potential Members tool just might assist you when it comes to gauging traffic.
